Our three bedroom post and beam house has 1200 sq. ft. downstairs and 400 sq. ft. upstairs. It is heated primarily by wood (firewood provided) with supplementary electric baseboards. It is comfortably furnished with everything you need for a long term stay.

The boatbuilding shop is fully equipped. The larger tools include a band saw, table saw, planer, jointer, lathe and drill press. Reserved at the island’s dock is space for a 40-foot boat.

All of this is on beautiful Sevilla Island, a few minutes from Lund which is the northern end of Highway 101. It is 28 kilometers to Powell River and about 160 kilometers to Vancouver, not including the two ferry crossings.

From the end of the road, it is a short boat ride to Savary Island which is nearly surrounded by the best swimming beaches in the North. Nearby Desolation Sound Marine Park is spectacular and great for boating and kayaking. The surrounding forests have extensive hiking trails and many pristine lakes. For activities, the possibilities are endless.
