Professional sound, guitar sales and repairs, audio sales

Conway-Brown Guitar

  • Professional guitar repairs and restoration
  • Guitar sales: carefully selected and tweaked to perfection
  • Behringer audio sales: I can order anything from the catalogue
  • Tube amps: servicing and modifications. I have the tools, parts, and schematics to repair, bias, and tweak.
  • Professional sound: for dances and other events.

Quality Cables made to order. Neutrick connectors (made in Switzerland and Lichenstein) with anti-corrosion coating, coupled with double shielding, offer the best in guitar, microphone, speaker, and signal cables. Let me show you why these are the cheapest cables available in the long run. I used to be an electronic assembly technician working to military specs. Bring me your cables and I will show you why most are timebombs.

Behringer audio has become the largest manufacturer of professional audio products for three reasons: quality, selection, and price. Check them out at www.behringer.com I have a small collection of his products in stock, and more coming. Guitar amps, sound processors, speakers, microphones, amps, mixers, DJ products, and the best cable tester made.

Will Langlands
acoustic Guitar, Vocals, Sound Engineer

My love for music developed early. My mother played the guitar when I was a child, and together we listened to the folk music of the sixties. I have always been enthralled by the sound of the guitar and started playing in 1974. I began by studying classical guitar and although my interest waned for a while, I resumed playing again in the early 80's.

I played the guitar sporadically during the following years. In 1998 along with my wife Sarah, I entered the Jazz Program at Malaspina College and spent a year studying jazz theory and guitar. We sing every Monday evening in the Academy's Jazz Swing Choir, which is directed by Walter Martella. Sarah and I are both songwriters and lyricists.

I spent two years studying recording arts at the Powell River Academy of Music, where I am currently the Studio director and one of the instructors. I have been the recording and mixing engineer for a video project "Alphabet Road" as well as for a couple of audio projects which include, Allan Brown's "Shape and Shade," and Peter Taylor's Sound Trax CD "Change of Pace."
