We are 28 km (17 miles) north of Powell River off Highway 101 near the coastal village of Lund and close to Okeover Arm Provincial Park, your gateway to Desolation Sound Marine Park (see Map ) Our Nature Trails, connect us to the Sunshine Coast Trail which stretches 180km from Sarah Point to the north of us to Saltery Bay in the south. The hikes will take you through a great variety of ecosystems.

How to get here:
In Horseshoe Bay - West Vancouver - take the ferry to Powell River.
Two scenic ferry crossings will bring you to Powell River.
From there stay on Highway 101 until you see the sign to Okeover Arm Provincial Park and Cedar Lodge.

Using Cedar Lodge B & B as your base you may: Motor, Sail , Kayak or Canoe into Desolation Sound and the Discovery Islands.   You may also access the Sunshine Coast Trail from Cedar Lodge.

Desolation Sound: A Geographic treasure, which ranks among the finest cruising regions on the globe. Despite its popularity, Desolation Sound remains one of the prime cruising destinations in B.C. not only because of the many sheltered anchorage's and the warm summer waters, but also because it is wilderness cruising at its best.

Only 30 minutes south of Cedar Lodge is the City of Powell River with 101 things to do. There you will find fine arts and craft shops. Two shopping malls are open 7 days a week to take care of your personal needs.
